- For quick pass/fail sorting of metal batches or grade identification, arc excitation in air is used. In many cases no or less sample preparation required.

- Dust-protected keyboard (silicone keys in aluminum plate) with number keypad, trackball and a large 15“ TFT sunlight readable color display with energy saving LED backlight
- External USB hard disk drive (no extra power supply needed) for data storage
- A multi-purpose holder for positioning the sample probe for transport or stationary measurement.
- The proprietary ICAL software from SPECTRO reduces the number of recalibration samples to 1 sample, even for multi-base applications. In addition, for each measurement, the optical system is monitored. Thus, time-consuming standardizations are a thing of the past.
- CCD optical system for optimum line selection is nearly unlimited in expandability. The construction of the SPECTRO CCD optical system is insensitive to temperature fluctuations and vibrations.
- The integrated drawer can be used as storage compartment for consumable parts or contains a battery pack.
- Starter kit (consumables): includes electrodes, brushes, ICAL sample, quartz windows and filter mats.
- Documentation: Basic Operator manual, Windows 7 licence and DVD, complete HDD image as backup on external USB HDD, “First Aid image” on built-in CompactFlash card.
